Arrival of your flight to Cairo Airport. Your tour manager will pick you up from the Airport to your chosen hotel where a short info meeting will be held.
This morning you will visit the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. Few hours later, we will take you to lunch at one of the best restaurants in the area with a splendid view on the Pyramids and Sphinx.
Afterwards, you will visit a Papyrus Institute where the workers there will take you on a quick tour to show you how ancient Egyptians used to make papyrus.
Optional excursion: Sound & Light:
Visit the Pyramids again at night to enjoy the famous Sound & Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. After the Show, we will take you on a short visit of some of the old quarters around the Pyramids.
This morning we will take you on a guided tour to the Cairo museum (also known as the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities), which has over 120,000 items on display some of which date back to 3,100 BC.
Optional excursion: Lunch on a Nile Cruise
Spend a wonderful and relaxing evening on a Nile cruise enjoying delicious Egyptian food and listening to entertaining Egyptian music.
This morning you will visit the vast necropolis of Sakkara that houses what is believed to be the world’s first ever pyramid besides other pyramids and monuments that still astounds visitors today. Close by, lies the ruins of Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, which you will visit as well.
Afterwards, you will visit one of the most famous leather shops in Cairo, where you will have the chance to buy traditional Egyptian leather products.
Optional excursion: Enjoy the sunset on a Felucca
Take a leisurely sunset ride on a traditional Egyptian sailboat (Felucca)
This morning you will visit the famous Cairo Citadel (also known as the Saladin Citadel) and the Muhammad Ali Mosque (located inside the Citadel).
Afterwards, you will visit Old Cairo and few of its most famous monuments, such as the Hanging Church (built in the 3rd century A.D) and the Amr Ibn El-as Mosque (the first mosque built in Egypt) and walk in the old area with explanation from our professional guide. Afterwards, we will take you to the Khan El Khaleli bazaar.
Optional excursion: dinner on top of the Cairo Tower
Enjoy the beauty of Cairo at night with an amazing view on the River Nile on top of the Cairo Tower.
We will pick you up from your hotel to Cairo Airport for your flight departure to Luxor International Airport with your tour manager. Once there, you will be taken to your Cruise where embarkation begins at noon.
On this day, we will take you to the West Bank where you will visit the Aga Memnon Statues and the Valley of Kings. The Cruise will sail to Edfu overnight.
An early in the morning visit to the Edfu Temple followed by a short city tour. The Cruise will then sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Kom Ombo Temple followed by a short city tour. The Cruise will sail to Aswan overnight.
Visit the High Dam early in the morning. Then, we will take you to the site of the unfinished Obelisk where you will learn about the interesting ways ancient Egyptians used to build Obelisks with basic tools. Afterwards, you will visit Philea Temple followed by a short city tour. Finally, later at night, we will take you on a Felucca on the Nile which includes visiting the beautiful Botanical Garden.
Optional excursion:
Visit Abu Simble by road.
The Cruise will sail back to Kom Ombo and then Edfu overnight.
This day the Cruise will stay in Edfu and it will sail to Luxor overnight.
On this day you will visit the Karnack Temple followed by a city tour. Afterwards, you will visit the Luxor Temple.
Disembarkation after breakfast. We will take you then to Luxor International Airport for your flight departure.
